Silver medallions created by a Neapolitan master goldsmith in the early 1700s which adorn (adorned) the capes and stoles of the brothers of the Congregation of the Immaculate Congregation. there are at least three types, perhaps from different historical periods and/or which adorned the different orders of the brothers. The one on the Prior's cape represents the Immaculate Conception standing on a cloud with a crown of stars, her left hand at her chest and her right hand extended forward. It is surrounded by the writing "Company of the Immaculate Conception". The second depicts the Madonna with hands clasped on a cloud and a simple bow on her head. The third instead shows the Madonna with hands clasped with a crown of twelve stars on her head while she looks at two hooded brothers at her feet and crushes a snake with her feet. Many of these medallions have been stolen. At the moment (May 2024) all those hanging from the stoles of the younger brothers and a good part of those on the cloaks of the older brothers are missing. The medallions were cataloged by the Cultural Heritage at 1500047467. Perhaps from the 18th century.
