The 1845 canvas is by Gennaro Martora(no) and is a copy, albeit with some variations, of a similar canvas by GB Pittoni (1687/1767) located in Belluno. Around the 1980s it was taken by the Cultural Heritage for restoration and for over 40 years it was not returned. In 2018 it was found by pure chance by two spouses from Moschiano (Lilla and Salvatore Mazzocca) in a church in Altavilla and returned to Moschiano. It had never been restored and it is not clear how it ended up there. Catalogued by the Cultural Heritage at # 1500047417.
