Wooden almshouse entirely covered in chiseled silver depicting the Madonna della Carita' finely decorated. Perhaps dating back to the end of 1800. As long as it existed (late 60s) it was used by the hermit on duty at the Sanctuary for his weekly collection. It was then passed into the custody of the various "commissions" and was certainly still present at the beginning of the 80s (as per eyewitnesses) and perhaps until the death of the Parish Priest Don Salvatore Pierro. After which it "disappeared". Perhaps stolen or thrown away.
